I've been looking for that too. Western Pomona said about 54% at their preview day.

Nice. Maybe we can all combine information and eventually make a list. lol. I know lecom-b is around 40% (including getting accepted off WL)

I just read on the Nova thread that on interview day they said theirs was 400/600 or ~67%.

I called many school's administration and gotten the same response.."Every cycle is different." ha ha.

lol i dont buy this statement, a lot of schools generally have the same rate because they usually dont interview more people each cycle unless they increase their class size..from what it looks like anyways.

and wow 67% is high, verrry nice

I would imagine an average percentage being accurate only in the middle in the cycle. In other words, I would imagine those early interviewers have a much higher acceptance percentage than those later on in the cycle, obviously. With that said LECOM's 40% is probably a very circumstantial number. Perhaps they have a 92% acceptance rate for those who interview early, and a 10% for those who interview late. We'll never know.

Many D.O. schools give a number near 67%. I think AZCOM and DMU are something around there, as well, but I'm not as sure about those.

CCOM says they interview about 600 and (including people pulled off the waitlist) about 400 of those get acceptances.

it really depends on how many people reserve their seat, end up choosing a different school even after reserving their seat, etc. Most schools have around 180-200 spots and they accept to fill up the spots. Hope that clears some things up

regardless I want to see how many invites each school throws out im super curious

For PCOM's last cycle, it was 400 acceptance and 650 interviews. And something ridiculous like 7500 applicants.

😱good thing i didn't apply there mainly because i read that they have a heavy regional bias.

Wow.

Now I've got applier's remorse...should of read things more closely before applying...

Same. I submitted AACOMAS to them, but haven't sent in the secondary. Not going to bother at this point either.

why do so many people apply there? is it a really good school?

Definitely one of the top DO schools.

why is it that some schools dramatically increased in apps within a year while others barely increased at all 😵

When they say "Applicants", does that just mean people who submitted a primary through AACOMAS, or is that people who did secondaries and were complete?

I always read it to mean people who submitted their primary.

Something to remember, there will be more acceptances given than class size. So if 500 interview and the class size is 150..there will likely be well over 200 acceptances extended.

yea for a class of 150 I would not be surprised if 250-300 got accepted. I know lecom ends up pulling close to 100 off their WL beyond their class size.

Ahh, yeah that's what I was thinking.

I think this would include people being pulled off of waitlists, not to say that that's a bad thing.

While I was looking at that site I linked a few posts up I noticed LECOM's applicant pool jumped quite a bit.. I can only guess because people saw the tuition and figured it was worth a shot.

yeah exactly what I meant, crazy increase huh? Im pretty sure you're right- my friend who goes there told me many people with upper stats are also applying there because the tuition is so great.

I honestly don't care too much about tuition. I didn't apply to MSUCOM because the tuition was so high, but I'm fine committing to ~$75k/yr if it's a school I will enjoy being at.
