Is there any way to get USMLE World to work on an android based tablet?

I just bought a Xoom last night in hopes that it would be better to do questions on for the USMLE than my crappy school laptop. Also, I figured it could be way more fun after the exam was over 🙂

Anyway, I just found out that the USMLE World program will not open in it. I suppose it's a problem with the file's compatibility with the Xoom, not Flash, as I have Flash on the tablet.

Is there any way to make it work? Has anyone else tried to use a tablet to study review questions? I emailed their support staff, so I'll post my email and let you know what they say.

Thanks in advance.

I had the same question....did you find the answer to the above?

EDIT : I just got an email from the support staff ...according to them

Currently none of the mobile platforms are supported. Any device, tablet PC or computer or laptop , which is capable of running full versions of Windows or Mac OS are supported. Xoom, Galaxy tab or iPad do not run any of the required OS and hence, are not supported.

🙁 🙁 🙁

There is a really roundabout way you can go about doing this if you really want to do practice questions. I know the ipad comes with this app and maybe the android does to. It's remote PC. You can run it on your tablet and the PC and then use the PCs operating system to run the qbank while controlling it on the screen of the tablet. You can be anywhere as long as both pc and tablet are connected to a network you should be able to do this. You would be controlling your PC screen off of your tablet basically but from anywhere.

RDP. I recommend Xtralogic RDP app. I use it to stream my lectures to my Xoom because I listen to them at 1.6 speed and there aren't any apps to do that.

If you need help figuring it out PM me.

Also a few other apps could work too. Logmein ingnition, splashtop are a couple. They require that you install a program on your PC though.
