Is there anything you want the admissions committee to know that you haven’t explained on your AACOMAS application?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to answer the "Is there anything you want the admissions committee to know that you haven’t explained on your AACOMAS application?" question. Do you think it would be better if I talk about my immigration journey, my mediocre performance during undergraduate and how I improved my performance during graduate studies or should I talk about how my ambitions and career plans will help the school fulfill its mission?

Thank you!

Are there extenuating circumstances like a major illness or family emergency that was the cause for mediocre grades that you would like the adcom to know about when considering your application? Is there anything else that you think would be important in providing context for the rest of your application? (Immigration journey can be one option, if you didnt have a chance to mention it elsewhere)

In general, Ive read on here that most of what is written has little to no effect and sometimes can even go the other way (ex: explaining that B in O chem—cringe!). But you do you. Fill it out if it’s something substantial. If not, blank is totally fine as well.
