Is there big difference between 3.7 GPA vs 3.8 GPA vs 3.9 GPA?

Are they looked same because they are already high enough?

I would say yes for certain betweeen 3.7 and 3.9.

Between 3.7 and 3.8 or 3.8 and 3.9 slightly less but adcoms can certainly see it. I think anything more than a .05 difference is noticed.

There’s only one school that is super stringent on gpa and that is Harvard, average is a 3.87 there or something

I think it depends on what your DAT score is. If that's on the lower end, then the higher the GPA, the better. But if you have a high DAT, a 3.7 or a 3.9 won't make a "big difference", in my opinion. But the difference between having a 3.2 GPA and a 3.7 GPA along with a lower DAT can be a big determining factor regarding whether or not you're invited for an interview (from what I've seen so far).

What is your opinion for high DAT score?? Sometimes i feel 20-21AA is low for Harvard, as thir average DAT is between 23-24.

I'd say a 22 or higher (but that's just my opinion, of course). You might be fine with that DAT score and get an interview at Harvard! What is your GPA as that's important to them too.

But if their average DAT score for acceptances is 23, then they obviously accept some with lower scores too 🙂

I have 23 AA 23 TS and 3.89 GPA. I thought I have a great scores, but it is just average for Harvard 🙂
Hope I will back from them soon.

Average means many in the sample scored lower than the "average" gpa or DAT. IMHO, Harvard looks for not only the good grades, but the intangibles that differentiate the candidates form the rest of the pool. I have said this before, if you are a former NASA astronaut, Facebook programmer, trans Atlantic freighter captain, or storm chaser, Harvard may be a shoe in. They look for people who have a track record of success and who would be successful at anything they put their mind to.
