I am debating on if I should take an extra BS class this summer to boost my GPA before I apply. After the first summer session (June 17) I will have a 3.23 BCP gpa..if I take another easy science class it will boost it to a 3.27. Is this that much of a difference that I should take this extra class? Or maybe I should take 2 easy classes and boost it to a 3.3..hmmm. Just wondering how far out after the decimal that they carry the GPA

You should look at the grading scale for the application, it goes by A/A-/B/etc if I remember right, so an A- is like a 3.7 (that means if you get a 3.9 you enter it as an A and then it will get averaged like it was a 4.0) I am not really so sure it is worth your money or time to boost your GPA a few hundreths. If you haven't taken the DAT, just study your butt off and do really well on it. A 3.23 isn't THAT bad.

I don't think that a .04 increase in your gpa really matters all that much and if the only reason why you are taking the course is to boost it by that much then I recommend that you don't take it and enjoy your summer.
