Is there such a thing as a malignant pediatric program?

Just curious.....has anyone encountered one of these in the realm of pediatrics?

There are definately malignant peds programs out there, buy who knows what will happen after the ACGME changes the playing field next year. From experience, the malignant programs usually are found in large urban areas. My opinion is that these are less than ideal locations to perform a peds residency unless you want to practice general peds in an urban area.
