I am thinking of applying to schools this year and hopefully getting in next year 09, but my GPA is not up there and am assuming the classes that i have left to take will bring it up. Now my question is I have not yet finished my prerequisites but I will be finished by Spring 09, but will the schools look at that? Will they add by grades to the other grades?

most schools will only look at the gpa you obtained prior to you submitting your application. You still will have to show them you passed your classes that you say you will be taking, but they don't recalculate your gpa.

Schools may add up your gpa again if you happen to get stuck on the waitinglist in 09.
