Why are you reading Case file surgery and Blueprints OB? How long do you plan to study? World, Step up to Medicine, and Non medicine chapters of First aid or Step up to Step 2 should be more than adequate. Limit your resources and know them well.

How many sources did you use for step 1? I personally would keep it simple. My plan: World, Secrets, and DIT for structure.

i used FA with tons of annotation and Worldbank for step 1.
can you tell me a little more about 'secrets' and DIT. i don't i have heard a whole lot about them.
thanks

I agree with keeping it simple. I suggest taking an NBME to see where you are right now. Then, tackle First Aid Step 2 CK (or Step Up - I just liked that everything was there in First Aid) and World. Make sure to focus on the explanations for World. Then, take another NBME and see where your weaknesses are/look at your percent correct in world by category. Supplement as necessary. For instance, I found that my weaknesses were in psych and obgyn. So, I picked up Case Files ObGyn and First Aid for the Psych clerkship (which I already had) plus Case Files Psych. Went through those quickly and saw an improvement in those areas. The key is being strategic and not just overloading yourself with general review books. Pick one plus World and stick to it.

Personally, I would stay away from Blueprints. You need things that are quick to go through. Case Files is good for that, but Blueprints can get very text heavy - great for rotations, but not so great when you only have a few weeks to study for a big test with lots of other topics.
