Hi everyone,

I am not sure how the weather in NYC looks like right now, but I have two interviews next to each other during the last week of November. Basically, I will have an interview on Tuesday in NYC. After this interview, I will fly out of NYC on the same day for another interview in another state scheduled at 8am on Wednesday. I was able to find a nonstop flight (Delta) at LGA airport for Tuesday evening flight. Do you think it is too risky for such tight flight schedule ? Does anyone have any ideas if LGA and Delta are notorious about cancellations, especially because of weather issues ? Also, can anyone comment on the current weather and situation in NYC ? Thank you very much !

Im currently at the LaGuardia Delta terminal waiting for a flight and there have been no issues. I spent most of my time in manhattan and encountered no problems there either.

All NYC airports are notorious for delays and that is unavoidable given the absurd density of regulated airspace there, but if there's one thing about NYC, it gets itself back together faster than any other place I can think of. You should be find as long as you don't need to venture out to Staten Island. 🙂

I don't know if there are other storms coming in but my flight into LGA was canceled and my next flight delayed cuz of the noreaster. So I would just keep an eye on the weather.

Too early to tell if there will be some massive freaky snow storm, otherwise should be fine. But if you hear snow storm, they don't joke with that anymore and cancel a lot.

Dear god, whatever you do, do NOT rely on JFK. That place sucks. I can't really speak for LGA though.

Thank you everyone for your input. I will look out for weather news. This is really like gambling, but I don't have a choice now.
