I know that there are like four major topics covered on the biology section of the DAT.
They are cell biology, genetics, physiology, and evolution/ecology. This is also mentioned in the DAT Guide right here:
http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_examinee_guide_2011.pdf
However, will we have to know specifically about plants, vertebrates, invertebrates, bacteria, fungi, protists, viruses, animals, etc.? I know that the DAT Guide only says that we need to know how these groups of organisms are related and organized into the major taxa.
But some people have reported on their breakdowns that they were asked specific questions about that groups of organisms. To those who have take the DAT, is this true? Does the bio section really ask specifcally about these organisms other than how they are relate/grouped ito major taxa (which is what the DAT Guide says is all you need to know)?
