Is this true?

Hey everybody. I'm not a pre-pharm student but I usually like to swing by and see the posts. I know that a lot of my classmates are pre-pharm and I just wanted to help them out...

I heard that Western U's pharmacy school has an overall attrition rate of 40%...that number seems a wee bit high IMHO

Can anybody shed some light on this?

I am not surprise the attrition rate at Western University is so high. I read that last year, Western School of Pharmacy loss a good number of its faculty. Western, however, has quickly hired new faculty members, but most of them are young and inexperience.

Also, this year Western's rate of passage on the California Pharmacy Board Exam was 60%, while the other 3 pharmacy schools had an 80% passage rate.
