Is UCI a good program?

I have heard a few mixed things about UCI but have heard it is one of the stronger UC programs-well I guess not stronger but is on par with LA, SD, SF-anyone know anything about it?

come on guys-anything on UCI? It is one of the few places I am realy interested in however running low on dates to interview so may not be able to squeeze it in-is it on same caliber as ucla and ucsd? any ups or downs that stand out! please!!
