I am taking my DAT on Monday and am trying to get everything crammed in. I've went over everything before.. using destoryer and what not, but it seems I have forgotten a lot of chem stuff. I'm not worried about bio at all.

So my question is if I'm ok using only Chad going into the DAT?

I'm so freaked out.. I feel like I'm going to fail this thing. 🙁

My final plan is:

Thursday:
Finish Chad's GChem Series

Friday:
Read KBB Bio, Cliffs Bio, and handwritten bio book
Watch Chad's OChem 1,2,3

Saturday:
Watch Chad's OChem 4,5,6
Go over OChem flash cards with ochem tutor

Sunday:
Go through MATH Destroyer with math tutor
Review all Chad's problem sets
CrackPAT exercises

Monday Morning:
Review all Chad's Notes
Skim through Cliff's Bio

12:30pm Monday: DAT

I'd advise resting somewhere in there..preferably the day before don't do ANYTHING, just relax.

The videos are pretty good if you also take good notes with them, and you said you're doing his problem sets which is great.

Buttttt, I would definitely recommend also going through the Gen Chem and Orgo Destroyer problems, going over the answers and Road Maps carefully.
That helped the most on the test, while Chad's videos got the ball rolling initially for me.

I can't rest right now.. and I sure won't be able to on Sunday or Monday morning.. I'm good with stress though so I'm not worried about killing myself.

I've made sure to keep eating a lot of healthy food and every night I go for a nice 4-6 mile run to release my mind.

I do take notes as I watch them.. and understand everything perfectly (at least for gchem and early ochem stuff).

I run into a problem with ochem when I get to the higher stuff. I'm ok with all the ochem basics, sn1, sn2, e1, e2, and radical halogenation rxns. However-- all the higher advanced reactions, I know nothing about. This is what worries me but from what I've heard, the majority of the exam is in rxns I already know.

I'm hoping my ochem tutor can get me up to speed with all the advanced ochem rxns. I would rarely study for exams in ochem 2 and would spend less than one hour with him before the exam, showing me how and why things react.. got A's every time.. while my friends who studied the whole weekend would get C's and B's. I'll make sure to go over the roadmaps with him also.

I'm sure you'll do fine. You are a frequent SDN forum goer and seem to know your stuff. I'm sure I'll be seeing a 25+ AA DAT breakdown =D👍

Haha, I wish I was that confident. I'm sure in the end things will be ok.. Just really stressed about getting some difficult ochem reactions.. and then there's the fact that I haven't looked at anything bio in a couple months outside of tutoring the general stuff..

I'm really just hoping for 19's or higher at this point.. :xf:

Chads videos are definitely enough. I watched them 3 times over and its all I did to study making sure I got all the big topics down. I read through all of kaplan blue book for gen chem and the first half for ochem and got 20 in gchem and 22 in ochem so as you can see kaplan really didn't improve it much. I would do random destroyer problems here and there but I felt they were at times over the top and skipped it if I felt that way. Definitely look over the road maps though they are really good I think there are some mistakes on it though so watch out. But yeah best advice is dont do anything the day before the exam, just watch a movie and relax so you are ready to go. The real DAT is not as hard or tricky as its made out to be so don't worry you'll do fine!
