Is USMLE Denver notes any good ?

anyone have any experience with usmle denver notes? A friend of mine at Univ of Louisville swears by it, but I thought I would get a second opinion. At $25 per subject, it can add up, so if you have tried these please let me know. and, what is the cheapest way to go about your usmle prep? i am on a little bit of a tight budget at the moment.

I'm sure if the notes were that good, they would be popularized very quickly. I saw some other forums with profiles that were recently created and they had at most one or two posts. They were claiming these notes were incredible. I'd be a little skeptical since it seems all they are trying to do is advertise and promote these notes. And they are quite pricey.

I'd say stick with the proven method of getting a good score: FA + Uworld + other qbanks
