Helloooooooooo,

For my 100th post and while I should be studying for a medicine exam, I thought I would create a poll about how many people's SDN names are the names of their pets!

(Seems to be a trend!)

Ahhh procrastination.........🙄

🙂love: Hollycozza 😍 is the name of my first Angora goat)

Philomycus is the genus of the cmmon brown land slug. I love slugs 😀

And here I was thinking of combinations such as "Pathology" and "bird"

I always thought it was 'pathology' and 'bird' too!

Okay, last post of the morning!

Pressmom is a combination of my dog's nickname and my role in his life. His name is Preston, and I'm his mom! I have another dog named Henry too. (But hen-penmom doesn't sound the same.) Guess my dad will really know my screen name now, as he sometimes reads here too!

Mine is the name of the cat I picked out for my sister Angelo and my birth year. I tried to put a picture of him but they were too large. He's a beautiful chocolate point birman--so cute!

of all my pets' names!
Fl (Floyd, 11yo aussie/husky mix)
Ke (Kelty, 9yo cattle dog-lookin' mutt)
Ma (Margaret Thatcher, the toothless, smelly, opinionated "feral" cat)
He (Herbie/Herbert Hoover, a very big & handsome Maine Coon-looking cat)

flokemahe. It sounds kind of Hawaiian though, doesn't it?

Mine's a derivative of my german shepherd's name. I said this in the avatar thread, but some others have mentioned the name so here it is again:

her name is Danka (german for Thanks).
that became Dankle, Hankle, Hoodle (that's me)
most of the time, she's the Hoo.

My SDN name is a variation on our family's toy poodle (actually my mom's toy poodle but he loves everyone)!

His name is Remington... with the nickname Remy.

He likes to rip up things like newspaper, anything that he gets his little paw on... Ripper! 😛

Finally, 315 is my favorite number!

rex is the name of my latest yellow lab who just passed a few months ago. whenever he was outside he'd eat the bark off trees, literally chomped and swallowed! so we always said he was more of a dinosaur, hence rexosaurus 😀

Pdx is for Portland, Oregon and Yoshi (short for the Japanese name, Yoshimi) is my crazy siamese mix's name.

hehe Im not particularly into path or birds, which i obviously didnt think about when i made the sn. 😉 people thought my name was pat for awhile too... hmm....

mine's "tex" for Texas (where I live) and "xlaevis" for the Latin name for my favorite lab animals-- X. laevis (African clawed frog). So, sort of a pet! 🙂

Philo - I probably meant to say this a long time ago, but your're freaking awesome!! And Angelo - wow - now I feel really old...😀

(I guess my name is fairly obvious...🙂 )

Mine's not very creative, but I'm a mom to Jaden & Colten. Hence, mom to J & C 😍

you've gotta love wade powell and his frogs. oh how i miss the smell of higley in the early morning and the "windowlessness" of the computer lab late at night. what i wouldn't give for one more day on The Hill.....

nope, it's the name of my favorite movie. but it has the word dog in it, does that count? 🙂
