Issues/Complaints with Comlex Level III

Trying to gather info on issues or complaints anyone has on Comlex level III.
Looking for honest complaints or problems (one's you wouldn't mind having passed on to someone at NBOME, if I can find anyone to listen)

Also looking for an informal count of those who failed this year (of which I'm one). NBOME states they don't give out info on pass/fail rate.

my only complaint is with the breaks. I like it when I finish a section early, my left over time is added to my breaks like the usmle did. I think they allow breaks in between all of the sections now and they might have changed this too. I am not sure. Oh yeah and of course if they could write good questions that would be nice too - but i guess that is not a legitimate complaint huh?

im taking this mothertrucking test again tommorow, i dont know what to expect, except for crap queistions. i just hope i freaking pass

second, I'm looking for any complaints or issues, I guess instead of legitimate I should have said as specific as possible, so I can pass them on. any input would be appreciated, and not just from those that failed. Don't be shy this is why we have the forum

they still ask ******ed questions,
everything is about " whats the iniital appropriate diag tool"

for instance guy twisted his knee, pain on patella,
probly some sort of ligament damage
but mri wold not be first test right, everyone gets x rays first,
but who knows what they are thinking
they had the gaul to put in the stem of the Q , after omm doesnt work , then whats th next step .? - ofcourse it doenst work

and what about those questiosn where omm is an answer choice
is it meant to be picked,

I really felt that the questions didn't really give enough information. I think I had one q about a 55 yo woman with this mammogram - had a picture you couldn't really see very well and asked what your next step was. No other kind of history. One of many frustrating questions. i am still waiting to see if I passed - it has been over a month - augh!

I thought the test was basic and fairly straight forward. I scored in the 90th percentile. It sounds like some of you didn't learn much during internship. I'm sure glad they have these exams to make sure that a certain standard is kept among physicians.

I thought the test was basic and fairly straight forward. I scored in the 90th percentile. It sounds like some of you didn't learn much during internship. I'm sure glad they have these exams to make sure that a certain standard is kept among physicians.

I passed with a good score as well, USMLE Step III that is, and that statement that you said just sounds a bit arrogant to me. Just because somebody fails or fails to grasp a concept, doesnt mean that they didnt learn much in internship. No way in hell does USMLE Step III assess that man. I mean theres people that cannot pass this thing with no clinical experience and need it for visa purposes. You didnt have to do the ccs cases on the DO version as well. A certain standard???? for what that is I have no clue, for learning what test is best, even though we commonly order them all at the same time usually anyways? Obscure ethics questions? Off the wall antics regarding questions and question writing during the examination? you should know how to comment a little more appropriate and respectfully than that, being that you are an ER resident.

complaints yeah the ******* prometric proctor she freakin confused me. She started cleaning up the other computers with like an hour left into my test on the second day, plus she didnt let me put my bag into the supervised area, whilst the lady the previous day did. I am going to write a long long letter to USMLE about my experience at the examination. ******* lady man, she told me that I had twenty minutes left on the test I must have some USMLE missing at the end of my test! WRONG IDIOT THAT TIME IS LEFT OVER FROM THE SURVEY AND I HAVE BETTER THINGS TO DO ON A BEAUTIFUL DAY THAN COMPLETE SOME RANDOM SURVEY WHICH IS MEANINGLESS... that is a huge comlaint actually, the prometric center lady was totally an idiot and inappropriate, interrupting my breaks outside even threatening me about how much time I had left during the ccs portion, when some cases took literally less than 5 minutes, idiot prometric lady....
