Hey guys! So I'm an economics major that transferred from a community college to a 4-year. I completed IGETC and part of the requirements were to take several science courses, so I decided to take 2 courses called Bio 1 and Bio 10, here's the general descriptions of these classes.

Bio 1: This course is an integrated survey of the major principles of biology. Students focus on cellular and molecular biology, physiology, reproduction, genetics, evolution, population biology, and ecology. This course is recommended for students seeking to fulfill the general education requirement in life sciences or as an introductory course for students pursuing advanced study in life sciences. The course title for this class is: LIFE SCIENCES(I)

Bio 10: This course addresses the application of chemical principles to biological systems, especially at the cellular level of structure and function. Essential topics include the nature of biologically important solutions and colloids; structure, functions and interactions of biological macromolecules; interactions of biological molecules in formation and functions of biological membranes; intracellular metabolism and enzyme functions; and genetic control of biological functions. The course is intended for health science students who have no previous background in sciences. The course title for this class is: BIOCHEMISTRY/HLTH SCI(I)

I took the corresponding labs for these two courses, however, Bio 1 was not accepted as the equivalent Bio 1 course at my 4-year, which means that I have to retake the Bio 1 series over the summer so that I can advance to biochem (which the course, Bio 10 basically is).

Is it suggested that I just restart the bio series at my 4-year, or can I just finish Bio 2 and it's lab over the summer at community college? Also, would Bio 10 also be considered to fulfill the biochem course? Thank you!
