To all of you still waiting for a decision to be made or feeling down by all of the rejections, remember that it only takes one school to see something in you and to see what you have to offer their program. I know that it can be VERY discouraging and it sucks to get rejection letter after rejection letter but when you finally receive that one acceptance letter everything changes. In the long run you can only attend one of the schools to apply to so they are just making things easier on you by only allowing you to be accepted by 1!! 🙂 I know that I have been very down lately and feeling discouraged but I got a phone call to come to my number 1 school for an interview this past Friday and I was accepted today. It has been overwhelming and exciting but do NOT give up!! If this is what you really want to do then stick with it and everything will work out! I wish you all the best of luck and I want to say thank you to everyone that has supported me and helped me through the hard, long process. It has been nice to have this forum to rely on.

Keep your heads up if you are still waiting to be accepted!! IT WILL HAPPEN!!! 😀

I was in the exact same boat...I had applied to nine schools with interviews at four of them. I did not even hear back from two schools. I was waitlisted at one and had to hear back from my top two choices where I had interviews at. I felt almost hopeless at the time. I heard back from my no. 2 n had been waitlisted unfortunately. This happened on Tuesday n I sent in the form to hold my waitlist spot on Wednesday. The next day on Thursday I got into my number one school and it was the last school I had to hear back from n the only one that accepted me!

Whatever happens keep up hope! At times I felt like I was not going to get in anywhere but I tried thinking positive thoughts n luckilu I got into one. That's all it takes is one! So don't lose hope if you haven't gotten in yet. You never know what might happen! Good luck everyone!

Thank you so much for this post. I am currently on FIVE waiting lists and it is torturous at times. But I refuse to lose hope and give up. Each day I wait for that call/email/letter! Hopefully, someday soon, I will be able to post on here of my acceptance to ONE of those five schools. It only takes one 🙂

You guys are so right!! To those who are accepted keep your heads up!! I checked the mail box EVERY DAY if not twice a day and my email was up constantly on the computer and my phone never left my side. I had my mind set I wasn't going to get in but that I was just going to work harder and make sure it happened next year because this is my passion and what I want to do. I know you all are feeling the same emotions that I have and that makes me confident that you will all get into PT school!! Thanks for all the positive comments! I hope that I have helped to at least ease the torture somewhat! I know it sucks but you will all make it through it and it will all work out in the end!!
