I have a lot of books about the DAT but they r from 2009.
and for Biology section, if you get 31/40 questions right, that is a 20 score on DAT.
But I guess now (2011), if u get 31/40 that is a 18 DAT score
Is this true ?
its always been like that...no?
I remember back in 2009, missing 5-6 biology questions and your down to a 20..... I don't think thats changed much.
The only place that I believe will chance is QR. The calculator was introduced in early 2010 (March?), I bet QR averages have gone up
This is pretty sad, but I had no idea that a calculator was available.... I long-handed everything ><

i have the 2009 paid DAT and on the last pae is a raw score conversion. It says 31-32 is a score of 20 on BIO.
on the bottom though, it says these r only estimates for this test. whatever that means
im still having trouble understanding this. so there isn't a clear cut scale as to how many u get right = correct score ?
so the scale changes depending on difficulty of exam ?
sorry if im sounding dumb
