I can't believe it! I am now an MS-II! Today was my last day of the spring semester at LECOM. I've been waiting for this day to come since August! It feels so nice to let my brain just REST for a little bit (before I start studying for the boards ). So any other MS-I's that are now MS-II's (including my LECOM classmates) share your joy!

Hey there!

I hope you did well on today's (last) Exam! I just had to show up a 1600 to get my grade report for some CLOSURE to the year...woo-woo!!!

Have a great summer!

Kat 🙂

Hi Kat!
I think I did okay on the last exam, but I don't know because I went home right after the test was done so I couldn't go to LECOM at 4:00 - so we'll see what happens. I was in no danger of failing (I needed to get like a 40% on the final to pass) but I still want to know how I did.
Have fun in St. Lucia! I'm so jealous!

I was just wondering what happens at LECOM if you fail a course?

fracky,
If you fail a course at LECOM, you have to take an exam for the class you failed over the summer first, then if you fail the test you have to retake the course. I'm not sure how it works exactly. All I know is that next week there were make-up exams for the people who had to remediate courses scheduled. If you fail multiple classes in the first semester (I'm not sure how many - probably 2 or 3), then they will put you in the post-bac program and you will have to repeat your first semester over again. I've never failed any courses (thank God) but it doesn't seem like it's too big a deal. You retake the exam and you end up with a C in the class if you pass the exam. That's all I really know.
