You're definitely not dead in the water, and this is because you only have 30 credits thus far. However, for MD you better get cracking from here on out, i.e. all A's in pre-reqs and no more W's. I remember reading about a thread in which you explained you worked a lot, is this impacting your school performance? If so, I would advise taking out more loans to avoid having to work and just gun for 4.0's. I had to do this, I worked for freshman and sophomore year, but this year (junior year) I called it quits and it has made a big difference! When I was working I was so wound up, and stressed! Yes, I still did well, but I was literally losing my mind! Now, with no work I feel so much healthier and more stable! I have one W btw, and this was because my mom was hospitalized for over a month (mental illness), and I had to take on family duties in her absence. I will probably have to explain that one W, but I hope admins will understand as her disease has had a big impact on my life. You will DEFINITELY have to explain those four W's, so be ready for that. You can definitely do it OP! But you need to change stuff around with your study habits. My best advice would be put in MORE TIME, yes I know this isn't groundbreaking advice. But I have found that the whole pre-med route doesn't require exceptional innate ability, rather just a hard working/ grinding mentality. We aren't doing nuclear physics or chemical engineering, regardless of the smoke pre-meds like to blow about how hard it is--the truth is there are majors that blow out pre-med. So just put in more time, cause grades on the pre-med track basically correlate pretty strongly with time put in! Good-luck op!
