And DAMN it feels good! In fact, AHHhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Whew, I needed that! Yes, results are in, and they're looking good. So far, with all but 25 scores reported, my class has only one failure! I was hoping that we'd all pass, since only one person failed last year. But if we tie their class, that's cool too. So far the class ave is around 225, and the top score is a whopping 268!

So, good luck to those of you who are still waiting. It only took 3.5 weeks for the scores for most of my class to be reported to the school. So it was a lot faster than expected. And a lot better than expected!!! Damn, this feels great! 😎 😀 🙂

tonsils: you would want to be with me b/c im damn good at medicine, and incidently im one of those people that doesnt enjoy getting all the lime light - i like my team to look good..but since you are so constructive with your comments, ill lay off a bit

crusher: congrats...now i have respect for a 247 (welcome to the club

Ligado: Well, you have to be a standout, considering you go to a third-tier med school. Any ordinary med student would be a standout at your school....geez.

On a side note, I just visited your homepage Ligado and I was a bit disturbed by some of your views expressed on your homepage. For all of you who have not visited Shari's homepage accessible through her profile, she has one page dedicated to what she calls "worthless people" which include "people on welfare and Native Americans". http://geocities.com/CapitolHill/Lobby/5320/worthless.html
On her links page, she wrote a blurb about her friend Mark who is a "Genious Engineering student who decided just how many people in the population are Stupid, on Welfare, are Liberal and were sadly born Native American."

darth vader and tonsils need to suck it up ...and if a 258 is in any way ordinary at any med school i would hope some others would verify this b/c last time i knew Wash U's avg was about 232 and i kicked their ass..incidently our school is ranked at that level only b/c of the lack of NIH grant money coming in which i agree is a negative and subsequently i had to look beyond my school for a good research experience....

yah, the website is great isnt it?..im just trying to motivate those native americans out drinking on the reservation to get up and do something....i bet darth vader is a tree huggin hippee who likes affirmative action too!

Hey Ligado, you need to suck it up...your school sucks... low NIH funding? Hmm.. I wonder why. I'd take a student at Wash U with 235 over you any day. And who says I scored lower than you? You like to "ASSUME" a lot of stuff. What we are all trying to say it that you aren't all that, and there are many med students out there who are better than you, and at the same time humble. This will be my last reply. I wish you the best of luck in your medical education...Just don't be an #$%#$%@ or in your case a #$%#$.

I ASSUME b/c your so damn upset over my original comment....who has the maturity issue? and who all is fatigued by my blatent truths other than you and some darth vader loser - that's quite the majority..im glad that was your last reply, im tired of hearing you whine!...by the way, you should visit my website, i bet you fall under not only the stupid category but liberal as well

Board scores mean nothing if you don't do well in your clerkships, and arrogance, even with book knowledge, won't earn you points 3rd year. You may be able to cover your true personality enough to do well; what a shame that would be. Sometimes brilliant people make the worst doctors-they assume that they are right, and make bad decisions for their patients (not to mention that they are horrid to work with as colleagues). What counts is being able to learn fast, be a team player, communicate effectively with your patients and colleagues, and find out information that you don't know. That's who I'd want as my physician.
