IUSD financial aid without acceptance

I recently interviewed at IUSD and am awaiting a response from them. I just received an email from them telling me to file for fafsa. I have another friend who also interviewed and recieved this email. I was just wondering if they send that to all applicants who interviewd or if i should look at it more optimistically.

I got that email too yesterday (and I don't have an acceptance yet). I think they just send it out to everyone still in the pool because FAFSAs are due March 1st and the adcoms don't meet until Feb. 28. Reminding the accepted students about it that late would be pretty useless. I'd like to look at it more optimistically but logic tells me it's probably a routine email... 😕

I wouldn't get optimistic over that. Make sure that you have the FAFSA sent to all schools you've been waitlisted at or will be interviewing at.
