I've just done my DAT. YES, feeling sooooooo much relieved after going through all these hectic life of studying. Also, didn't sleep well 2 nights before the exam.
I'm willing to share my experiences and some tricks in studying. Don't just over-studying. Enjoy life!!! Especially, with your the most closest one.
Well, I got most of my scores 20+ and more than 90th percentile. YEAH!!! I've achieved my goal.
BIO: Kaplan, Destroyer, TopScore, CliffsAP Biol, and Wiki Campbell test bank. Two weeks before the exam, narrow down to Destroyer, TopScore and CliffsAP Biol.
GC: Kaplan, Destroyer, Wiki and TopScore. After that, concentrate on Kaplan, TopScore and Destroyer in last 2 weeks.
OC: Kaplan, Destroyer, Wiki and TopScore. Thank you Dr. Romano's road maps and those have summarized most of the synthesis that you need to know. Again, Kaplan, Destroyer, and TopScore are the best choice in last 2 weeks of study.
RC: You can do some searching on the topics on Wiki about some science background e.g. aspirin or DNA damage. These may help you to score some points if time your time runs out. (Awwww..... I spent ~12 min on last passage!!!) I believe you will be given 2 sciences passages and 1 non-science passage and could be anything like business, geographic, or some arts.
PAT: CDP and TopScore. But I prefer CDP most. More challenging like more folds in hold punching. Be aware that, the real DAT is similar but not EXACTLY the same.
QR: Practice Kaplan, though my first impression on Kaplan was RIDICULOUS, but after doing several times, I think it helps me to recall my memory back. Then, TopScore will be my next practice material. Also, I bought a book "Math Word Problems for Dummies (for Dummies (Math & Science))" by Mary Jane Sterling. There are lots of tricks in solving words problem. This books is really good for dummy like me. Ha... Also, Math is very very easy. BUT, time is the biggest issue among most DAT examinees.
Finally, I would like to thank those people who responded to my dumb questions @ SDN, my family, friends, relatives, for their light, medium, and heavy supports, encouragements, and prayers. Also, TRUST your God. Proof to Him that you can handle the heavy tasks in the future and He will make it happens!!!
Good luck for those who are going to take DAT in the future.
