It's a pretty relaxed day and seemed to go by very quickly compared to other interviews. The day starts at 0800 with a great breakfast spread on the 2nd floor of Ryder (just off the entrance elevator). Once everyone was present and settled, we received a presentation and tour from the residents. Then we returned to Ryder to start interviews around 0900.
There were three separate interviews. One with either Dr. Livingstone (chair) or Dr. Sleeman (program director) plus faculty. Another with two faculty members together. And finally one with a resident. These were non-stress, blinded interviews where you have a great opportunity to present yourself and ask questions about the program. Each interview lasts approximately 20 minutes, except for the interview with the chair or director, which is about 5-10 minutes.
Lunch is at noon, with faculty and residents around to answer additional questions. After which, the interview day is over and you're free to leave.
