Jacobi Medical Center, located in the tree lined Pelham section of the Bronx, NY, home of the world famous Bronx Zoo and the 27 time World Champion New York Yankees, is now actively recruiting qualified D4 senior dental students to apply to its General Practice Residency Program. Jacobi is a Level 1 Trauma Center and an academic affiliate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. We are a true reaching institution supporting primary care, specialty care, and fellowship post graduate education in medicine, surgery, dentistry, and podiatry.
The General Practice Residency is dedicated to providing advanced education in all phases of dentistry. In 2011 the Department of Dentistry moved into a state of the art dental center within the hospital. All operatories support digital radiography, an EDR, ICAT imaging, and chair side video. Each year we seek to admit a class which comprises a diverse representation of dental schools from across the country and Canada.
