Just saw your post...but please read what i am trying to do and let me know if you are interested.
I am seeking the assistance of physicians willing to travel with me to Jamaica on a medical mission. I started a charity designed to have 4-5 physicians visiting Jamaica (Chester Castle) 3-4 times per year to offer medical support….sometime in January or February (2013). There is an established clinic there but the physician in charge of that area gets the opportunity to visit this clinic once or twice per month. This is the area that I spent the first 9 years of my life and I am now at the point where I can begin to give back a little….unfortunately I am a Radiologist.
We have a family vacation home there which is only about ½ mile from the clinic. I am really interested in Family medicine, internal medicine and surgeons at this point. But all who have a genuine interest can contact me as we also need administrative support. I suspect that once we get started dentists, nurses, gyn, etc can come on board. I don't know the first this about running a charity so if any of you have the experience please contact me as well.
