Has anyone heard from them yet? I interviewed mid-November and on the phone yesterday was told that no decision had been made. I found some threads from last year where people were asking the same question but nobody posted when they finally heard. Does anyone know when people found out last year?

People talk about sending letters of intent to schools that waitlist you. Is there any value in sending such a letter to a school that hasn't made a decision yet?

I interviewed on Jeff's December interview date and have yet to hear anything back either. Out of curiosity, the older threads you looked at made mention of people getting MD-only acceptances and then waiting around for the PhD committee to eventually make up their minds... have you heard anything about an MD-only decision or has there just been complete silence from Philly?

At our interview they told us that we had to ask to be considered for MD only admission as well as MD/PhD admission, and I did not ask to be considered for both, so I wasn't expecting to hear from them on that. I was rather confused to get a pamphlet in the mail today addressed to "prospective student" from Jefferson about financing a medical education.

i interviewed in november for jeff, and in december was called and told that i was offered an MD spot, but that there was a chance still for the MD/PhD. i have not heard anything more on the MD/PhD front, but i have been getting a ton of stuff about the MD, like financial aid, etc.

i would love to try to figure out if there is any dates that we might know.

Yesterday I called the admissions office and asked if it was likely if a decision might be made by the end of March or by the end of April and the guy say he could not even give a guess when the decisions would be made. I am going to try to get contact info for a first year student and ask them when they found out last year.

I was accepted to the M.D./Ph.D, program sometime before Christmas.
