How many medical specialities have a job ad starting with this great line:

"There are not many pathology opportunities out there today, and even fewer good opportunities" (Sounds like a really positive job market).

Copied it from a recent job ad by Merritt-Hawkins.

Now, if only CAP/ASCP would acknowledge as much!!! But why would they even talk about such issues when they are devoting time to such red hot burning issues as "rounding with clinicians". Since many pathologists will be jobless anyway, that sounds like a great way to spend all the extra time or maybe we can all move to India and open "Dr.Bauer's pathology clinic".

Thank you CAP!Thank you ASCP! for being our true representatives.

Why dont you draft a letter and email it to Dr. Bauer? I would be willing to sign it. He replies to emails...i emailed him before and he replied back. Unfortunately, posts on here will absolutely do no good.

Do you really think they don't know?

They just don't want to deal with the "real issues".

Their bottom line is introducing nonsense accreditation programs and making money for themselves.

I just like pointing out the obvious to those fools who still believe that these sham organizations benefit the individual pathologist.

Once a certain critical number of "aware" individuals is brought into existence, things will start to change.

I am waiting till my voice is the "collective" voice.

No sense practicing what you preach until then I guess.
