Okay, so by the time that I apply to medical school I will have been employed by the same company for 5 years. It is a city lifeguard position where we do town events, watch over the pool, etc. Would this be beneficial since I have a pretty personal/close relationship to my boss and feel that she can show in a LOR my hard work ethic, never late, etc.? Or, should I not use since it's not medically related although, it has to do wit helping people (CPR, AED, First-Aid,etc.) and also working with people. Thanks for your input.

Get the letter for sure. Remember you don't have to use it, but often it can be difficult to get everything together in time, so be sure to take all the letters you can get.

Using it or not depends on what else you have going on in your application. Stuff like "hard worker" "never late" blah blah actually is good things to have in your file.
