Jobshadowing experience

I'm just wondering how your jobshadowing experiences were. I just jobshadowed an Oral Surgeon a couple days ago. The oral surgeon was nice and everything, the place was cool, the staff however hated me. Everytime I would walk by them, they would give me a look of disgust. When the oral surgeon introduced me to them, they didn't say anything, they just starred into my soul. The jobshadowing was really fun, I just feel uncomfortable everytime I go there now. Anybody have any bad jobshadowing experiences?

The assistants and hygienists at my shadowing dentist's place have been really nice so far. I'm learning to assist and do front office stuff too so maybe that helps. Just make sure you let them know how interested you are in learning from them and stuff, but if they're just mean anyway then that's their deal not yours. I wouldn't worry about it too much, you just absorb what you can. I'm sure they'll warm up after a little while! 🙂
