Hello folks.
Just a semi-annual update. Our private forum has grown in the past year or so since its inception. As many of you know this forum allows strictly physicians (attendings and residents) and medical students to interact in an open manner. All the things said in there are kept there. It's a very civil environment in which we can talk about the grave political matters facing our profession (ie CRNAs desiring more turf,etc). It's frank "physician to physician" talk without paraprofessionals.
Those of you who have not joined, I encourage you to do so. Recently a senior member of the group has posted an EXCELLENT thread in regards to the state of affairs in our political arena. It's quite insightful and I believe there are points in it that will effect each and everyone of our lives. It goes into great detail about the real threat CRNAs pose, etc.
In order to join one must send me a request via going to My Account>user CP> Group Membership> then request to join "Anesthesiology Club". Include your real name and ASA membership ID number. You MUST be an ASA member (we do check this and this is mandatory). Your information will be kept completely confidential by me (Lee Burnett has made me moderator for the private forum).
Let's keep the Private Forum strong and make it grow!
