Hi everyone,

Just wondering what people have found is the best way to access journals in private practice (assuming you don't have a hospital affiliation that provides this).

Besides the Red Journal, it seems that getting individual subscriptions to the various relevant journals (NEJM, JAMA, JAMA Onc, JCO, Lancet, Lancet Onc, etc) is the most expensive and least efficient routes.

Any advice or thoughts would be most welcome!

go to your local public library. Many provide a login for accessing articles.

You can always hit up your former resident colleagues for their logon info until you're too far out to know anyone.

Affordable Care Act was all well and good but where's the Affordable Journal Act? We got Obamacare, Obamaphones... just need Obamajournals now.
