Hey im a recent transfer for cc and wanted to become a doctor. I have been wanted go to medical school every since high school and started out as pre-med a cc but lost focus and did not take any of the pre req. I wanted to know where should I start kinda of lost a the moment at I have a lot of work to do in concern of my gpa

sats
major: public health
gpa: 2.57
EC: none but looking to start soon

I really wasnt focused as a 18 year old but i want to change that around soon right now i only have 60 credits so I know i can still improve
thanks 🙂

Get straight As for a while, then worry about a post-bac. Get As from now on.

If you can't do well in a CC, then it doesn't bode well for a 4-year or med school beyond tha

yea true my cc wasnt easy by any means teacher's did not hand out grades at all but I wasnt into school really which is why I have mostly B's and C's than A's but thanks at least I still stand a chance.

at least I still stand a chance.
I didnt say that at all.

You have no chance right now; you need to rock your last two years. And I mean rock, to stand a chance.

Its already 2nd semester of your junior year, so how'd first semester go?

yea true my cc wasnt easy by any means
Uh yeah they are; which is why the are considered the lowest point on the higher education spectrum in the US
Difficulty: Med school >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ugrad >>>>> cc

Unless you can pretty much finish out with a 4.0 you've got a long road ahead of you. If you're at a 2.57 now, 60 credits at 4.0 will just get you above 3.0, which is the low end of the cut off for post-bacc/smp.

The fact that you have zero ECs doesn't help.

How did your first semester of junior year go?

yeah I know pretty much a very long road but i just got my A.A which means im in my 1st offical semester as a jr so im no where near finsh to get my degree but I have been improving my grades so far. Im working on EC's now though. Just wanted to know if I have room for improvment but thanks 🙂
