hey all i just spoke to an aadsas rep and my printout hasnt been mailed yet i was tryin to figure out when they may be able to mail it and i had said that some of the people i spoke to said that their printouts were mailed out
she said that there was an error w/ the first mailing and those that have the prinout mailed havent even been mailed some type of thing messed up and they'll be mailed like in the next week or two...so i guess aadsas messes up again......its already mid july and they havent even done anything yet....im a little concerned. (i esubmitted june 16) and im just worried it wasnt early enough w/ the way things are goin

really? thats what they said? NO one's applications have been mailed out yet?! that would totally suck. I also talked to a AADSAS rep today and he was soo rude with everything, he sounded like a robot with attitude. roar.

nothing has been mailed out....thats what she told me
i was a little concerned b/c the application isnt completed w/ out the aadsas printout so im going to wait to fill out the supps that i can b/c they told me the first apps will go out w/ in the next week or two....(those just from may) and the june apps will go out after that (no exact date) so i figure th ejune apps wont be out till early august

I tried to get like an approximate date from teh guy I was talking to and he just kept repeating "COUNT 4 to 6 weeks from when you submitted it!!!" I was like yeah but that doesnt seem to be the case exactly.. and he just repeated that again..

i wonder if this worries anyone else.....some schools out there have their own application systems and that means some kids dont have to go through aadsas so they're apps could get there essentially a hell of a lot earlier than ours even though we supposedly applied early???? or do schools REQUIRE aadsas apps???

calm down guys..if you e-submitted anytime in may or june..or even early july then i wouldn't worry. tons of people are going to e-submit after u..so if it takes a long time for your app to get out then it will be the same story for those stragglers that came after u in the process.
e-submitting in june will still land you within the 1st round of interviews, providing you are expedient with all your cheques,pics,lor's and whatever else the schools require to finalize your app.

what u just said dont' make much sense... as for those kids that applied to schools that have their own apps, they won't affect you since that's only for those schools that are not part of AADSAS. and if they applied to AADSAS schools then you guys are in the same boat, so it's not like those kids have an advantage over you. seriously, don't drive yourself mad worrying about it so much. it seems like you're on top of everything so i'd just be a bit more patient and just not forget to submit everything. good luck! 🙂

If you notice, in your application, it says schools have instant access to your entire application as soon as you e-submit it. So I think if a school receives a "signal" (for instance, DAT score or supplemental documents) from you and are interested in you, they will probably look into your app themselves rather than waiting for your app to come from AADSAS. Wouldn't you think so?

Regardless, as someone already mentioned, you are EARLY. Don't worry too much.

i called some of schools i applied, and they said they haven't received anything from aadsas yet. i guess it is true that aadsas hasn't done anything yet. aadsas sucks! 😛

True, but I believe that most schools use this only to gauge how many applications they are receiving, not for reviewing applications.

Actually, I contacted one school and they said that even though the AADSAS website says available to schools online, they haven't been able to access any applications yet because of problems with the AADSAS system. that was only one school though, I don't know how widespread that problem is.
