hey,

i applied at the end of my junior year(june 2008) and took my DAT (july 2008)

i received several interviews which makes me not to study and mess up my GPA. Not only that, if i am taking electives along with major courses (bio or chem) , always, the elective messes up my gpa. (easy or hard don't matter).

Anyways, so far i am waiting from Maryland, Turfs, and BU and other schools, and received interviews from vcu, buffalo, and NYU. But would they require my senior GPA (FALL) for their process to accept me?

Is senior gpa that important for my case?

Thanks

I'm kinda wondering the same thing because I didn't do so hot on my first Biochem test this semester.

i would not worry too much if i were u

i have been getting b's and c in my all electives (3) first test. (people think these are easy)

Maybe call/email the schools you are concerned about and find out directly from the horse's mouth? Many, if not all, schools extend 'conditional' acceptances to people who have not yet finished their degree and/or pre-reqs so that you don't just go "Yay, I'm in, time to quit college!" ... whether or not they put GPA requirements in this, I don't know, but it's not like you can go failing courses. I'm suppose as long as your grades for the next two semesters are all above a C- you should be okay though. Also, schools which haven't invited you for an interview and may want to do so after fall grades are in may ask for your fall grades, so keep that in mind.

lol, i have a molecular genetics exam tomorrow and i haven't started studying...i'm just so ready to be done with college. it was fun but i'm ready to move on to bigger things
