This is a new television documentary in Ireland. It started on Monday, and will be on every monday at 21.30 on RTE 1. It's about the first year as a doctor for four interns, straight out of the 6 year course in UCD. It's really exciting. It's really interesting. And a bit scary!!

I'm literally watching the 1st episode that a mate sent me overseas today. They all look EXACTLY the way I felt on first day 🙂 Good for them!

I don't think last night's episode was that great. All they did was mainly focus on them saying how tired and stuff they were.

Ha, you're right leorl, there was a lot of moaning in that episode. I still thought it was good though. And I just find some of it so funny! I was in stitches!

Nice one TC ... ahhh the hallowed halls of SVUH ... I think I remember the interns as well when they were wee young students ... must have been at those drunken Vincent's Hospital Ball nights ... 😀

I just watched the first episode. I thought I was dying to start in Ireland before. I can't wait now, dammit. It also kind of makes me wish it was easier for non-EUs to get posts so that I could just move there.

If anyone would be able to make a copy of the video/dvd, I would be willing to pay for it, that would be great thanks.
Also, if anyone has any links of where to locate the episodes on the internet - except part 1, it would really help.

Apparently they're (or some of them) are on YouTube.

I laughed before because some of the things they did seemed/sounded ridiculous. Now that I'm an intern...it is exactly how it appears on the tv program.
