Just a couple questions about my application.

I'm sure there will be a lot of these posts for the next few weeks ^_^.

My questions are

a.) What types of courses constitute "other science?" Is that just math? Would a a Wellness health class (laughter as a therapeutic modality) count as another science?

b.) Under awards, honors, and scholarships do they want to hear about being on the dean's list at my university? Or is that not important enough to put on there?

c.) I thought there was some kind of verification form you had to fill out for all shadow/volunteer hours? Am I missing that somewhere?

d.) How many years are too many to go back for community service/volunteer? I taught a religion class in the winter of 2006.

e.) This is probably the worst out of all the questions, but I started and managed my own men's hockey and softball team for 3 years now, is there anywhere that this would be alright to put in the app, or should I probably just leave it out?

A) If you click on the instructions button, it will tell you what courses constitute science, non science, etc.

B) Yes, you can put the semesters you were on the Dean's list.

C) No such form that I know of.

D)That should still be fine. I put all the volunteer/community service hours I did while in undergrad.

E) Is is strictly just volunteer work you put in? If so, just put it as volunteer.

As far as this goes I think it is on a school by school basis and they may request this for your secondary application (ex. I know UF requests this information but others do not)

See the hockey isn't exactly volunteer. I play on these teams, but I was in charge of putting everything together including finances, uniforms, etc:

If anything I thought it would be extracurricular activities. I just wasn't sure if dental schools care about managing sports teams ^_^

I would put it under extracurricular activities if that's the case.
