Alright. I took the DAT for the first time in July, my scores were on the lower end of average. I didn't post them because I'm really embarrassed about them. So this time around I'm increasing my study time and I decided I needed more prep materials. I bought CDP, CDM, Cliff's AP Bio, and an Organic Chemistry for Dummies work book.
I went to Hastings to buy Cliff's and the organic book. I sat in the study materials aisle for a while flipping through books trying to decide on what to buy. I flipped through a newer Kaplan DAT book to see how different it was from my Kaplan book...not much difference. Well I went to put it up and out fell a Top Score CD ROM! I was so excited to see that! I figured a kind person left it there after they were done with their DAT prep (that Kaplan book was previously used). I was like "Screw the system, I'm taking this CD!" I carefully placed it in my AP Bio book by the AP CD . The whole time I was looking around all paranoid like I was going to get caught. I went to check out and man I was sweating...the girl that was ringing me up almost dropped that CD out of the book, if she did that I thought I might get into trouble. I finished paying and skipped out of the store like a nerd...
I got home and put the Top Score CD into my computer...it started up..I was like "SCORE!" Then it said "License Expired, Please purchase new license."
Crap...I guess that's what I get for trying to be cheap and save myself $50...

Just wanted to share my little story to break up some of my study time! haha
