so i took the DAT again in early June (AA:20 TS:22 PAT:21) and got offered an interview at BU in mid June and was accepted a few days later. i am really excited to start BU considering it was one of my top choices. the only thing really bothering me now is i have to find an apartment ASAP. i have family about 30 mins away from the school and most likely will be staying with them at first for a little but i really want the whole experience of living on my own. how hard is it to really get settled and find an apartment based on everyone elses experiences living away from home?

Wow, congratulations. 👍

I think that was a very smart move.

Its not to hard. I Actually have a twin who just started at NYU for their DPT program 2 weeks ago and he's looking at an apartment right in gramercy park about 4-5 blocks away from his building. My mom actually found the agent on craigs list this morning and my parents are going up on Wednesday to look at the apartment with my bro. Try and contact other students there, preferably D2, D3, or D4, and see if they can give you an agent's number.

Wow, sounds like Boston is getting desperate this year. Two of my friends just got in recently, too, and they had really low GPAs and lower DAT scores. It's definitely jealousy that's bringing out the bitterness in me, but nonetheless....it makes me question why BU hasn't filled their class or their waitlist at this point.

totally jealous, congratulations!! are you for sure gonna take their offer, or are you still going to wait on other top choices?

Wow, nice thing to say to someone you don't even know.

But yeah, given BU's usual timeline the end of June is an early acceptance for them.
