Hey Guys,

Just applied to some schools (7/8/2015), will be applying to more later. Just wanted to ask how my stats and chances are.

  • Overall GPA - around 3.57; Science GPA - around 3.25
  • DAT = 23AA/24TS/25OC/26GC/22BIO/22RC/20QR/17PAT
  • I have 416 shadowing hours ( 400 of a general dentist and 16 of an orthodontist)
  • Over 1000 Volunteering Hours
  • Founded 2 pre-health/humanitarian aid organizations
  • Received a $25,000 and $20,000 grant
  • 2 Research Assistant Positions, and 1 Research Director Position

I am worried about my science GPA and the PAT Score :/ What do you guys think? I am a Texas Resident.
I feel the same, everything else seems A'IGHT!.

Your DAT and awesome extra-curriculars should definitely offset your GPA. The PAT is a little low, but as long as you applied to several schools, you should be okay.

PAT sucks but everything else is spot on. You'll be a-okay.

I am in a similar situation. I got a 21/21 and 18 on PAT along with 3.90 oGPA and 3.84 science. Hopefully it won't hurt us too much

I have pretty much the same DAT/GPA/ECs. Your PAT is the weaker factor in your app, but it's still an average score! I'm confident you'll score interviews. Good luck!

You'll be fine because you've shown great deal of time management while you keep up your gpa and you've done a lot of extra-curricular activities showcasing leadership! Best of luck. I'm sure you'll rock it. 🙂
