I just finished taking it, and here are my scores and comments
PAT 17
Quantitative Reasoning 17
Reading 21
Biology 20
Gen Chem 15
Organic Chem 16
Total Science: 17
Academic Average: 18
PAT was much harder than Kaplan's, Reading wasn't very difficult (3 sci passages), Math seemed easier then Kaplan, but I had to blindly guess on about 7 due to time, Biology was easier than Kaplan, and then gen chem and organic was the same as kaplan (in my case).
I have a 3.76 Overall GPA, I don't know if I need to retake the test. I really hope I don't. The only thing that worries me is my gen chem score. Do schools just look at the TS and AA, or do they care how you individually did on the 3 sciences? Will a 15 in gen chem cost me an acceptance even though my averages is average and my GPA is above average?
Do any schools, such as Nova, UF, Kentucky, Louisville, Arizona, or UNC have cut-offs that would make me not a great applicant b/c of the 15?
Feedback is GREATLY Appreciated.
