Respect those you work with, appreciate that everyone is working hard, enjoy the bejeesus out of being with your patients, be grateful for the opportunity to do something that so few people have the privilege to do....
At times you will feel neglected, disrespected, overlooked....this is real life after all. But you can treat others as you would have them treat you and I guarantee you will be pleased with the results.
If in doubt, defer a year, work at a 9-5 job and see if you like that better. It was the best thing I ever did, and it solidified my decision to do this.
