I just found out today that my GPA for o chem lab is a 1.4, but my TA said it would be around a C or B. To me something smells fishy, and I was wondering if there's anything else I can do? I busted my ass through this lab class and now I have a D to show for it. Thanks for everyone's help in advance.

So your TA said that it should be around a C or B? Why don't you find out exactly what it is SUPPOSED to be and then contact the records office if there is a discrepancy.

Agree with the previous poster. And, to be honest, if you do have a 1.4 it doesn't seem like you worked hard enough. Some courses require a far greater amount of work than other courses. Good luck to you!

+1

A 1.4?

You would literally have to try to get a score like this. It would be easier to remember to do the assignment and study then it would be to remember not to do anywork.

your TA said your grade would be around a C or a B? There a pretty big difference between a C and a B..so why don't you ask to find out what exactly you got?
