I thought I was done at 4400 characters. At this point I was happy with my essay and just to double check I went online and discovered that they include spaces.. Now I'm at 5300 🙁 and I feel like every bit of it is important to properly express my interest in dentistry. Have any of you gone through this? Do you guys have any tips on slimming it down? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am trying to exclude any unnecessary or redundant details as much as possible.
Try to get straight to the point!

Rewrite long sentences and paragraphs and make them succinct. Basically, paraphrase your own essay.
