Hey all,

I just submitted my application (WO!). Feels nice to finally have it out there. I was wondering what the next step is for secondary application etc? Seems like some schools email you and others do not? Any advice? Also, where can you check the status of your application as a whole? Thanks.

Some schools request that you send the supplements and payment as soon as you file the application. The info will be found in each school information in your AADSAS application.

Some schools will send you an email confirming the AADSAS application submission and will request to do/pay the supplements. Some electronic and some request you to send in the mail.

Some schools will only require you to pay them at first and give you the supplement forms to fill out if they decide to give you an interview.

AADSAS application page will show you a very general status of your application to each school. Schools will email you with confirmation of AADSAS application submission, supplement form submission, payment receipts, and/or final confirmation telling you that your application is complete and is now under review. You might want to make a spreadsheet and compile all of this information on your own.

After that... it's just a waiting game.

It should take roughly a week for your grades to be verified. 1-2 days after it's verified, most of the schools you applied to will send you an email to complete the supplemental and pay the fee. Then its a waiting game for interview invites after that!

Take a break and get ready to write a ton of essays - depending on how many schools you applied to.

When writing your supplementals, use it as a general guide for interviews. You will want to make sure that you are consistent in what you write in your PS, AADSAS App, and supplementals. You will also want to be able to talk about everything you’ve written during the interview.

Also, for those schools with online portals, you can check the status of your application/interview/etc. on there. I have heard they update the online portals more frequently than on AADSAS.
