Finally yesterday I was able to take step 1 , was not as bad as I tought it would be, just hoping to pass it and if possible, reach my NBME predictions.

Would you mind sharing your experience with the exam? I'm taking it on Tuesday and I'm terrified.

Don't be afraid, just think that you have been studying for this test for a while, try to sleep well the night before the test, which was imposible for me, so personaly I would recommend some type of sleeping aid and use it for a few days just to see the effect it has on your body. Wear comfortable clothes, no pockets and no hoodie b/c everytime you take a break they have to check them. Bring lots of snacks, it' s a waste of time trying to find a restaurant. Skip the tutorial, and choose a seat that' s far away from the door. Taking water and bathroom breaks after each block definetly allowed me to stay fresh and not get tired. Simulate a 7 hour exam at least once, either with your q- bank or NBME's.

I hope you find this helpful, anything else don't hesitate to ask!!

Congratulations on finishing! What question resource (NBME, UWorlds) were most similar to the exam? Would you mind sharing your pre-real deal statistics?

NBME' s were more similar, just longer and a little bit more difficult. Uworld q's are definetly harder. My NBME grades were:
NBME 15: 256
NBME 13: 258
U world self-assessment 1: 257
NBME 17: 262

It sounds like you probably did really well no the exam. Did you ever do Kaplan questions? Did you find them harder or easier than UWorld? When you say Uworld is more difficult do you mean from NBME?

I don' t know if I did so well, I' ll just have to wait and see. I did ~90% of Kaplan, at first I tought those q's were harder than Uworld, but once you get use to the format, you'll find out that you don't have to reason your way to the questions like you have to do with Uworld, you just have to remember a few key facts, which is very different from Uworld, this Q- bank is harder that Kaplan or NBME's. In my opinion it tests how well you manage concepst, not just if you' re able to memorize stuff.

Congrats on writing step 1!! Sounds like you worked really hard for it and finally paid off. Would you mind sharing your study schedule and what resources you used. Also how long did you prepare for the exam? Thanks
