Hello all,

I always check out this site before the steps so wanted to pass along some info..

Overall, I thought the first day was harder than the second.
I used USMLE World and First Aid (with a little Crush)

My cases were...
DKA
Abdominal aortic aneurysm
5th disease
cardiac tamponade
pulmonary contusion
GERD
H. pylori
Sarcoidosis
and I can't remember the other one

Happy it's over.

CCS is wiglet. I didn't like it.

diverticulitis
Pediatric iron deficiency
new onset DM
Opiate overdose
some kind of adnexal mass
Sexual abuse
Peptic ulcer disease

some others....

A couple didn't end when I expected. Must have been missing something. Ung.

updated: yeh, I ended up with a borderline pass bar in the CCS cases. do the CD!

First aid.. and i also ran thru the 5 cases on the usmle cd every which way. Attempting to kill the pt. do all the right things etc.

Just to help people out who are trying to figure out what to use

I used USMLEworld Qbank only, but did 80% of the questions. Probably about 100 questions a day 5 days a week or so depending on my schedule at work.

probably did that for about 4 or 5 weeks. Score above the 95%. It prob helps that im in a IM residency and 75% + of the questions are IM, but im just a crappy intern.

just my two cents. plenty of my collegues are using crush plus usmle world and they are doing well too but I dont know how well
