Hey there folks, I posted this on the PsyD forum but really didn't get any responses as of yet:
I just graduated in may w/ a BA double major in psych and soc. I'm in the process now of trying to get a Job in the human service/social service field to save up some money for grad school, and hopefully gain more insight on my area(s) of interest. I am leaning toward MFT/Clinical Psychology, BUT don't know if I should get my Masters first and then work for a year or two to "get my feet wet", then persue a PsyD OR Aim for a Clinical psychology MS(MA)/PsyD program that has MFT as a concentration. The typical Masters programs I have been researching are combined clincal/counseling psych with an MFT concentration. I know this is the type of question i will end up answering on my own, but if anyone can give a little insight or personal experience story that would be great!
