if you got in your state school (very cheap tuition) and big name school such as harvard, upenn, columbia,

which one would u choose?

Personally I would choose my state school because I will be paying for all of the cost from loan (no parents help and don't want to get parents help) and I don't feel confident that I will be able to pay back the ridiculous amount of loan if I go to private school.

Same...I would go to my state school. However, since that's UF, I don't think that will be happening, unfortunately.

^im in the same boat....if i got into UCLA and Harvard, i would pick UCLA.....but i probably wont get in either =(

same here...i'd go to my state school b/c I'll be in the same situation as you!! in the end, I don't think the name of the school really matters...as long as you're happy with the school - thats all that really counts 🙂

Plus the 'big name' schools don't always offer a great clinical experience. I'd take many dental schools over Harvard any day.
